A Message from Susan
My husband, John, and I moved from Huntsville, Texas (a small town 70 miles north of Houston) to Santa Fe eight years ago because we had always vacationed in Northern New Mexico and enjoyed the climate and outdoor activities (we had to escape the Houston heat and humidity). We co-own The Running Hub, a running shoe specialty store in Santa Fe.
Living in Santa Fe allows me to embrace the great outdoors. I enjoy hiking, downhill snow skiing, river rafting, and running. Every Tuesday and Thursday night at 6:00 PM you will find me at The Running Hub training with a group of runners that are pursuing a healthy lifestyle and enjoying the camaraderie of working out with a group.
I am a sports enthusiast and enjoy watching live sporting events and coaching youth sports. Having coached track and field, volleyball, soccer, swimming, and basketball, I get a thrill out of training young children and young adults. Helping them to set goals and create a plan to achieve them is my life’s passion.
John and I have twin daughters who graduated in 2009 from Texas Tech University. They have become educators in Texas, but like all Santa Feans, they can’t wait for school breaks to return to their mountains they love.
